Accommodation: 

Wayside Guest accommodation offers three large and luxurious ensuite rooms within the actual building, with the addition of an annexe bedroom with ensuite separate to the main accommodation.

All rooms have digital TV  (weather permitting) ,computer broadband access, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.

Evening meals are available throughout the week and are freshly prepared with local produce.

Travel cot provided on request, high chair also available.

Wayside has a comfortable lounge/dining area and bar, with slate flooring, and for the winter months we have a wood burning stove in the lounge. The dining and bar area seats 24. We can cater for small private functions and meetings.

The bar area has exposed stonework, an oak bar counter which has been reclaimed from an old schoolhouse. We have also re-instated a red brick wall between the lounge and bar area, which was an original feature. Another unusual feature of the bar area is a red brick walkway, made out of reclaimed bricks which were originally used for flooring in the barn. The original byres have been carefully re-instated in oak by one of our neighbours, and if you know how hard oak is you will be able to appreciate the effort that has gone into them, to create a cosy eating and drinking area.

Outside Wayside offers ample parking space, washing and drying facilities and storage sheds. A wash pad is available to wash down dirty dogs or bikes. The courtyard has a seating area where you can either dine or drink, it is a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine watching the sunset over Black Combe. In Autumn the sun turns Black Combe into a beautiful shade of bronze. For the more adventurous there is an original water trough in the courtyard which is filled with natural spring water for a refreshing dip.
